The First Challenge here at Dragonfly Dreams

This is the very first challenge here at Dragonfly Dreams Challenge.

I hope you will enjoy our challenges, we aim to have fun and want everyone who joins us to have fun too'
The theme for our first challenge is:
                              ' Thoughts of Summer'
When I think of summer I think of blue skies, lush grass and dragonflies skimming over water, I think they are the most amazing creatures and I can sit by the water and watch them spellbound for hours!


So what makes you think of summer? Show us your projects about your thoughts of summer, is it sunshine, the beach, gardens or something else!
We have a wonderful Design Team who have created some great projects for your inspiration. Our sponsor this month is Lawn Fawn who produce the most gorgeous rubber stamps, some of our lovely ladies have made cards with their stamps so you can see how great they are, so I think now it's time to introduce you to everyone:

I am Laurian I'm sure many of you will have seen me around blogland, I have been crafting for ever! I think I must have tried every sort of art and craft during my life but I have always had a love of paper, my first papercraft was when you made stamps from potatoes and stamped patterns onto paper with paint - OMG I AM OLD!!! 
For my card I have used some stamps from an English Rubber stamp company called The Stampman. I have stamped and heat embossed the images, I hope you like it!

This is Lady Annes Thoughts of Summer, Green and lush

I'm sure many of you will knowElizabeth Hart
 this is a little about Elizabeth -
I have been making cards and paper crafts for over 13 years. During the day I teach AP Government and Politics to high school students but often I cannot wait to get home to start creating. I love paper most of all and cannot resist a pretty pad of new papers. My puppy is a Bichon and she loves to rip apart any stray papers I might leave about. And, last but not least, I am fortunate to have a husband that helps support my fun hobby.
And this is Elizabeth's Thoughts of Summer, she has used Lawn Fawn stamps for her lovely project!

I am also sure many of you will know Elenor 
this is a little about her -
My name is Elenor, I'm 39, living with my boyfriend here in Umeå, a town in the north of Sweden. I have been crafting for 6-7 years with both scrapbooking and cards, but mostly cards now and some altered art! =) I like to make a little jewllery and dabble wiht this and that! Otherwisw I love to bake, take photos, dancing, being with friends and biking all year round! =)
I have been on a few DT's during the years and are looking forward to be part of this design team and new challenges!
Elenor has also used Lawn Fawn stamps for her cute card, unfortunately summer means allegies to Elenor!

Tania

Hi all I am called Tania but sign as Taniaj, I live on the Isle of Man (some where in the middle of the Irish sea and famous for cats with no tails and the TT races). I love making cards and playing at altered art and sometimes scrapbook when the mood takes me. I have 2 sons and 3 cats .When I am not playing , my day job is as a teaching assistant which I love very challenging but with great rewards.
Tania's Thoughts of Summer are for bike rides and butterflies, not surprising considering the beautiful place she lives!

Our next lovely lady is                               Heidi
and this is a little about her -
I live in a small town in northern Illinois with my wonderful husband and dog. I started scrapbooking in early 2000's after I got married. In the past couple years I picked up card making and fell in love with the Magnolia stamps. I enjoy traveling, watching movies, crafting, watching the Cubs, and spending time with my Bernese Mountain Dog, Wrigley.
Heidi recently came back from a trip to Hawaii and her card is inspired from that!

And last but definitely not least we have the lovely

I am sure you all know Patti and without her hard work we would not have any of the lovely sponsors and fab prizes. Patti has been beavering away behind the scenes making sure that our challenge has some great prizes! Here is a little about Patti:


I am a Christian wife, mother, and grandmother.  I have been a crafter of some sort since I was a small child.  I started making cards around Christmas in 2011.  I was hooked.  I am so excited to be a part of this team.  I have been married to the man of my dreams for 19 years come February.


Patti has also used Lawn Fawn stamps on her card - doesn't that just say summer to you!

So now you all know our Thoughts of Summer now we'd like to see yours, you can enter any craft project that fits the theme and we don't mind how many times you enter as long as it is in the theme. All work should be your own work and most of all have fun!
There will be one winner chosen by Inlinkz randomly and we will also pick a top 3, all winners will be posted by Wednesday following the close of the challenge.
